The Concept
A Meaningful Approach
This project brings together different ideas into one consequential creation. It is important that what we design and offer is in harmony with the time we live in and with the questions we face as a society — about resources, consumption, and our impact on the environment.
Less Waste. More Meaning
We live in a time of constant consumption and disposal — objects, clothes, and materials that quickly lose their place and purpose. Our response to this is simple: in our workshop, we try to use as much of our material as possible.
The TOVA chair is made from relatively small pieces of reclaimed solid wood, allowing material to be used with flexibility and precision. Different wood types are combined together, giving each piece its own unique character.
Because we work primarily with solid wood, the result is exceptionally durable, highly functional, and simple in its construction.
Its compact, foldable form makes it easy to store, transport, and adapt to different environments and everyday needs — functioning as a chair, side table, plant stand, or whatever the space requires.
Foldable. Minimal. Honest. Functional.

The principles behind the design

Reclaimed Material
Thoughtful Construction
Built to Last
Understanding the journey of the wood — the availability of the resource, the enregy consumption and the human effort behind it — changes the way you see the material. It invites a more mindful and responsible way of using it.
